Since 2021, from the approximate total of 333 million American citizens: 37% White, 26% African American, 16% Hispanic, 3% Asian, and 2% percent Native American receive welfare assistance from the Federal government. Not everyone is born with a silver spoon or resources needed to live a comfortable life. Some people simply fall on hard times and need time to recover all that was lost during a recession, unexpected deaths, tragedies, et cetera. Life happens and is often out of human control. Sadly some citizens abuse the welfare system in various ways, forcing even more stringent criteria to be met before assistance can be granted.
There is another type of assistance that most people overlook and also abuse. This assistance is called Grace.
Grace is unmerited divine assistance given to humans for their regeneration and sanctification.
Regeneration is the natural process of replacing or restoring damaged or missing cells, tissues, organs, and even entire body parts to full function in plants and animals.
Unmerited – not adequately earned or deserved
Ephesians 2:8 – ‘For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.’
Grace is a gift from God. We don’t deserve it, but God freely gives it to every human being. There is a power within grace that replaces and restores the broken parts of the human condition. Money can’t buy grace, nor replace it’s essence. I don’t have to apply for it. I only need to receive this gift from God–not for a moment, but each and every day.
Hebrews 4:16 – Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Where would you be without God’s grace and mercy?
Receive Grace today. No matter what ethnicity you are or your socio-economic demographic is, grace is available for all people–even after you abuse the system. Grace is still available. Consequences come with wrong doing, but God said he would never leave us nor would he forsake us. No matter where you are in life, God is there.
