Approximately 80 miles north of Atlanta on 21 February 2024, a black man, named Jamal Helton, aged 29-years-old, was found hanging from a tree at the High Shoals Fall in Towns County, Georgia.
No new details have been released. This death is not even getting enough coverage on the news. Please be careful. Walk with a group of people.
The photo above was taken in 1935 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida of Rubin Stacey being lynched in front of young white children and adults. Rubin didn’t murder anyone, but in the minds of these white people and their progeny, he was worthy of a lynching because of the color of his skin.
This is why so many people are racist. Because their parents fed them racism. It’s 2024 and black men are still being hung.
